Our client required a solution that would provide shipment tracking and shipment visibility to them and to their clients in turn. In addition, they wanted internal and external business intelligence (BI) reporting solutions.
We developed a secure web portal displaying shipment data and which could track vessels via Marine Traffic. Solutions included embedding BI reporting to analyse their CargoWise One data.
Internal as well as external users are now able to log in to a secure portal to view and track their shipments, as well as view their CargoWise One data. It included an option to analyse their CargoWise One in a BI reporting tool.
Our client required a BI reporting solution using CargoWise One data to analyse purchase order and container data, as well as an option to automate their packaging list data in CargoWise One.
Logsys developed a secure web portal with embedded BI reporting for the users to interrogate their own data. It included a data capturing option to integrate packaging lists data in CargoWise One with a two-way integration between CargoWise One and AX.
The business now has the option to view and analyse their CargoWise One data and business intelligence reports in a secure portal. The solution of integrating and automating their packaging list data improved overall operational efficiency.
Our client required a secure web portal which they could share with their transport clients to view loads and capture additional data. They required full integration with multiple third-party applications.
Logsys developed a secure portal with the transporters’ data to view and update their data in a central place.
Their transport clients now have full visibility of their data, which can can be used to track and monitor their loads internally and externally. All transporter data can now be viewed in a central portal which provides full visibility of their clients’ supply chain.
Our client required visibility of their full supply chain on an order line level – from the order approval stage through to final delivery to retail clients. A further requirement was to develop an estimate of landed unit cost prior to order approval, and then at order fulfillment.
By integrating information from the client’s ERP system and combining it with shipping information from their in-house ERP system, we developed an online solution which could deliver on the order management and visibility requirements of our client.
Our client is now able to offer this system as value-added service to their own clients.
With the migration to CargoWise One, our client required the same rate calculation method for their own client invoicing (which at that point was no longer available). Agreements with their existing clients had to be kept, and doing the calculations manually was not feasible.
By managing the rates and doing the complex calculations outside of CargoWise One, and using an integration facility, the function could still be automated and the quality of invoicing could be maximised.
The solution massively improved internal efficiencies. No additional time is required due to manual calculation and by providing full audit trail of automated invoicing, the financial department can control the quality of invoices.
With the client’s migration to CargoWise One, they required an integration between their own systems and one of their Key Account clients. Their Key Account client requested that the connection for the integration be done in the same secure manner as was in place previously.
Logsys implemented a secure connection to the Key Account client with an integration for both imports and exports files, and with a similar level of automation that was in place previously.
Due to the solution implemented, our client did not have to continue capturing its Key Account client files manually in CargoWise One anymore. Data is now automatically inserted as it is received from the Key Account client. Minimal changes – and thus disruption – were required to be made by the users.
The client required CargoWise One organisational and accounting data to be made available for their reporting team. They need to use the data to ensure that they have the correct information and/or updates from CargoWise One in their accounting system.
Logsys created and published some access to the specific requested data views to the reporting team.
Our client’s reporting team is now able to seamlessly access the CargoWise One data and include it in their monthly reports to management and to their head office. Risk management has improved as they now have a better, more strategic view of what is done in CargoWise One for specific clients.
The client required a solution where they could have demo data available when on-boarding and/or selling their portal to new and existing customers.
We developed a secure portal for the client which included generic and static data. This meant that the data would remain static and would not change, so that when they then had to present a demo, the data would remain the same. The data input is not dependent on any system integration or user and dates on any module readjusts on the day the person doing the demo logs into the demo portal.
No set-up is required in any system by any user before a demo can be arranged for a client. Data remains generic and static, so that they do not have to be concerned about their various clients’ data possibly showing during their demo. Their feedback to us was: “Our demo with the new static portal was a huge hit!”
Insurers were requesting daily reports for each transaction created for a specific policyholder or insured individual. This was taking a lot of additional time for users to create and send reports.
Logsys created insurer based integration which extracts the data and sends it to the insurer on a daily basis.
In addition to the more seamless and automated daily reports, our client is now able to successfully generate and post reports and overviews to the insurer at the end of each month. The insurer consistently receives their daily reports, and our client’s users do not have to create these reports manually anymore. This solution led to overall improved organisational efficiency and workload management / time savings.
The client required full Shipment, Orders and Customs integration between CargoWise One and all of their own external systems.
More than 90 integrations were managed through Logsys’ middleware solution. All integration can be monitored, viewed and trouble-shooted via the Logsys middleware dashboard and integration tools, which in turns has helped our client to start managing their own data.
The business is now able to manage their own integrations. The integrations have also allowed for operational efficiency, as well as allowing for data visibility in their BI reporting via a client-specific API.
